    I was driving them to their hotel in Seattle. I was super excited to see them so I showed up to the stage early to catch as much of the show as I could. It was great and Emily seemed so wonderful. So I’m standing there waiting for her and I wanted to say how much I loved her music and her show. She came out I think with the manager and as she walked up I smiled and got about two words out she looked at the manager and said “WTF???”. I felt pretty small to say the least. She took a cab.

    Then I drove the rest of the band to a bar. They were pretty loud. Every time I said or asked something they had some kind of canned response like “sucked ass” or something.
    But honestly, it was late, I was tired, I was a big fan, and maybe I was let down that I didn’t connect with them more. They might not be the cocks I thought they were, but I can’t help it, I don’t really love the music anymore.
